Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1¾ cup all purpose flour, sifted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 6 large marshmallows, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- In a large microwave safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
- Whisk in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- Fold in sifted flour and salt, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently incorporate mini chocolate chips into the batter.
- Spoon the blondie mixture into a prepared brownie tin or an 8×8 glass pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set; check doneness with a toothpick.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Increase oven temperature to 400°.
- Transfer cooled blondies to a baking sheet.
- Cut jumbo marshmallows in half and place one on top of each blondie, cut side down.
- Put the baking sheet back in the oven and bake for about 5 minutes until marshmallows are browned.
- Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
