  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup m&m’s
  • 1/2 cup nutella (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a mini muffin tin with grease.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, stir to combine thoroughly.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.
  6. Fold in the M&M’s to the dough until they are evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop the dough into the muffin tin and press lightly into shape.
  8. Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  9. Immediately press down in the center of each cookie to create a cup shape.
  10. While still warm, fill each cup with Nutella.
  11. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before gently removing from the tin.
