- 2 cans (28 ounces each) canned beans
- 6 to 8 slices bacon
- â…“ cup onion, diced
- â…“ cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup yellow mustard
- ¼ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an oven-safe skillet or pan.
- Cook the bacon over medium-high heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Cut the cooled bacon into pieces. Leave 1-2 tablespoons of drippings in the pan and remove the rest.
- Sauté the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic in the pan until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in the beans, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
