- 18 ounce bottle of barbecue sauce i used baby ray’s original
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast
Instructions
- Set your crockpot to low and add the chicken breast.
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and toss to coat thoroughly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.
- Serve with bread, naan, rice, salad, or in a tortilla for a delightful meal.
