- 1/16 tsp salt
- 1/16 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp peanut butter or allergy friendly alternative (30g)
- 1 1/2 tbsp water or egg whites (22g)
- 1 handful chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 325° Fahrenheit (162° Celsius) if you plan to bake the cookie.
- Warm the nut butter slightly if necessary to make it easier to stir.
- In a cereal-sized bowl, combine cocoa powder, protein powder, sweetener (if using dry), salt, baking soda, and optional chocolate chips.
- Mix in softened nut butter, water, and any liquid sweetener until you achieve a chocolate cookie dough consistency. You may need to add more water if the dough seems dry.
- Shape the dough into a large cookie using your hands.
- You can enjoy the cookie raw or bake it for 7 minutes on the center rack of your oven or toaster oven.
- Allow the cookie to cool before handling, as it will firm up during cooling.
