  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp protein powder (16g)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (10g)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sweetener of choice (18g)
  • 1/16 tsp salt
  • 1/16 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or allergy friendly alternative (30g)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp water or egg whites (22g)
  • 1 handful chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 325° Fahrenheit (162° Celsius) if you plan to bake the cookie.
  2. Warm the nut butter slightly if necessary to make it easier to stir.
  3. In a cereal-sized bowl, combine cocoa powder, protein powder, sweetener (if using dry), salt, baking soda, and optional chocolate chips.
  4. Mix in softened nut butter, water, and any liquid sweetener until you achieve a chocolate cookie dough consistency. You may need to add more water if the dough seems dry.
  5. Shape the dough into a large cookie using your hands.
  6. You can enjoy the cookie raw or bake it for 7 minutes on the center rack of your oven or toaster oven.
  7. Allow the cookie to cool before handling, as it will firm up during cooling.
