Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, then drain.
- Mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, cook ground meat over medium heat until browned.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in carrots and cook for a few minutes, then add peas.
- Mix in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and broth, then simmer until thickened.
- Transfer meat mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with mashed potatoes and smooth the surface, creating texture with a fork.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
