Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, half of the mozzarella, and Parmesan. Stir until creamy and mixed well.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. Pour pizza sauce over the top and smooth it out.
  4. Sprinkle cooked ground beef, followed by bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives on top of the sauce.
  5. Finish by adding the remaining mozzarella cheese, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling with golden edges.
  7. Allow the bake to rest for a few minutes before serving.
