- 3 black tea bags
- 2 ripe peaches (sliced)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a pot and steep the black tea bags for 5 to 7 minutes.
- In a separate pan, cook the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and a bit of water to create a syrup.
- Strain the peach syrup into the brewed tea, mixing well.
- If desired, add the lemon juice to the mixture.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator until cold.
- Serve the Peach Sweet Tea over ice and garnish as you like.
