Milky Way Cream Cheese Dessert offers a delightful combination of rich cream cheese, luscious caramel, and the sweet taste of Milky Way bars. This dessert is easy to prepare, making it an ideal treat for parties or a comforting indulgence at home.

  • Total Time: 4 hours 6 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 milky way candy bar, coarsely chopped
  • caramel sauce, for drizzle
  • 20 oreo cookies
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • (2) 8 ounce cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 5 ounce evaporated milk
  • 3.25 ounce milky way instant pudding mix (bought at walmart)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 7×11 baking dish by lining it with parchment paper, ensuring there's overhang on both ends for easy removal.
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies and mix them with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then gradually mix in the sugar, followed by the evaporated milk and Milky Way pudding mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the ½ cup of heavy cream until it is incorporated. Pour this mixture over the Oreo crust in the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped Milky Way candy bar on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours or until set.
  7. Before serving, whip the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream with the 2 tablespoons of sugar and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Spread this whipped cream over the dessert and drizzle with caramel sauce.
