- 4 6-oz salmon fillets
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup wholesome yum zero sugar maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder.
- Add the salmon to the bowl and coat with the glaze. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to the Broil setting (about 500 degrees F or 260 degrees C). Turn the salmon pieces in the marinade to coat again before cooking.
- Place the salmon in a baking dish with space between the fillets and brush any leftover glaze over the fish.
- Broil the salmon about 6 inches from the heating element for 5-7 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 135-140 degrees F.
