  • 4 egg yolks

  • 1 lemon zest
  • ½ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup blueberry jam

Instructions

  1. Freeze the ice cream maker bowl for at least 12 hours before starting.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine egg yolks and sugar, whisking until light and fluffy.
  3. Add 1 cup of milk to the egg-sugar mixture and heat over medium, stirring constantly until it reaches 165°F.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a container, then mix in the remaining lemon zest, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  5. Place the cooled mixture into the ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  6. In the last 5-10 minutes of churning, add the softened cream cheese.
  7. In a quart-sized container, layer â…“ of the ice cream followed by â…“ of the blueberry jam and â…“ of the graham cracker crumbs, swirling with a knife. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
