- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 1/2 cups pecans (halves or chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, melted butter, and granulated sugar until a soft dough is formed.
- Press the dough consistently into the bottom of the baking pan.
- Bake the crust for about 10–12 minutes, or until it has a light golden color.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, and maple syrup or honey until well mixed and smooth.
- Add in the vanilla extract and salt, mixing thoroughly.
- Gently fold in the pecans until fully coated with the mixture.
- Pour the pecan filling over the pre-baked crust and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for another 20–25 minutes or until the filling appears set.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting them into squares for serving.
