- 3 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
- 2 oz tequila (blanco or silver)
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur (triple sec)
- 1–3 slices jalapeño
- 1–2 tsp agave syrup (optional)
- ice cubes
- optional: salt or chili powder for rim
Instructions
- Blend the watermelon until smooth and strain if desired.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it in salt or chili powder.
- Muddle the jalapeño slices in a shaker.
- Add the watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur to the shaker.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with agave syrup if needed.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with lime and jalapeño slices, then serve.
