- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- juice from 2 large limes, about ¼ cup
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine smoked paprika, chili powder, granulated garlic, cumin, cayenne pepper, Mexican oregano, dried minced onion, salt, black pepper, honey, and vegetable oil, whisking until smooth.
- Butterfly the chicken breasts and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to 350°F.
- Take the chicken out of the refrigerator and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Once the grill is hot, place the chicken on it.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
