Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked bone in ham, 6-8 pounds
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons whole cloves
  • 1 can of lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  1. Score the surface of the ham ½ inch deep in one direction and then in the opposite direction to create diamond shapes.
  2. Insert a whole clove into the center of each diamond shape.
  3. Pour the lemon-lime soda into the bottom of a roasting pan, then place a cooking rack inside the pan.
  4. Position the ham cut side down on the rack in the roasting pan.
  5. Bake the ham, uncovered, at 325°F for 2 hours.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, dijon mustard, and orange marmalade, and set the mixture aside.
  7. Brush the glaze over the ham and continue to bake for an additional 45 minutes, applying more glaze every 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  8. Serve any remaining glaze alongside the sliced ham.
