  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until just combined. Shape into small meatballs.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides until fully cooked.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, then return meatballs to coat them in the garlic butter.
  4. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a little pasta water before draining.
  5. In a separate pan, melt butter, then stir in heavy cream, letting it simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and garlic powder, mixing until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce, using reserved pasta water as needed for texture.
  7. Serve creamy linguine topped with garlic butter meatballs, drizzling any extra sauce over for added flavor.

For extra flavor, let the garlic cook just until golden in the butter before adding the meatballs.
Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken if you prefer a lighter option.
Make sure not to overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
