Instructions
- Prepare dulce de leche using your preferred method: oven, stove top, instant pot, or slow cooker.
- Preheat your oven if necessary based on your dulce de leche preparation method.
- Melt the butter and the first cup of chocolate chips together until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg mixture.
- Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Stir in the remaining chocolate chips and dulce de leche into the batter.
- Pour the brownie mixture into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the extra chocolate chips on top of the batter.
- Bake according to the method you used for the dulce de leche preparation.
