  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz whipped topping (divided)
  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • chocolate shavings or crushed cookies for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the chocolate cookies into fine crumbs and combine them with melted butter.
  2. Firmly press the mixture into a 9×13-inch dish to create the crust. Chill for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth, then gently fold in half of the whipped topping.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  5. In another bowl, whisk chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens.
  6. Spread the pudding layer evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Top with the remaining whipped topping to finish the dessert.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings or crushed cookies if desired.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours or overnight before serving.
