  • 1 bottle italian salad dressing, optional marinade
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 4 tablespoons butter, sliced into 4–6 pats
  • 2 tablespoons diced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons italian herb seasoning blend

Instructions

  1. Optional: Marinate the pork tenderloin in Italian dressing for 12 to 24 hours and discard before cooking.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Pat the pork tenderloin dry and season with sea salt and black pepper.
  5. Mix the diced garlic and Italian herb seasoning blend together.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until golden-brown.
  8. Transfer the seared pork to the baking sheet.
  9. Coat the pork with the garlic and herb mixture.
  10. Place butter pats over the top of the pork.
  11. Wrap the pork in parchment paper and bake until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), about 30 minutes.
  12. Let the pork rest in parchment paper for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
  13. Slice the pork against the grain and serve.
