Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon filets (6–8 ounces each)
- ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (divided)
- ½ tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- Pat the salmon filets dry and cut them in half lengthwise if preferred for quicker cooking. Tuck thin ends under for even thickness. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and ½ tsp of garlic powder.
- Place the salmon in the air fryer basket skin side down in a single layer.
- Air fry at 375°F for 7 minutes without preheating (reduce to 5 minutes if preheating). Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl while the salmon cooks.
- After 7 minutes, baste the salmon with the honey garlic soy sauce. Return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cooked through and the sauce is caramelized.
- Optionally baste again with sauce after 1-2 minutes or heat extra sauce until slightly thickened and pour it over the salmon once done.
- Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired, and serve hot with your favorite sides!
