- 1 pound medium shrimp raw
- 4 tsp flour all purpose
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp water
- 2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2/3 cup fine breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and dry them with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Place the shrimp in a bowl, add the flour mixture, and toss to coat evenly.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and water.
- Mix the panko and fine breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl, adjusting the amount based on shrimp size.
- Working in small batches, shake off excess flour from the shrimp, then dip them into the egg mixture.
- Transfer the egg-covered shrimp to the breadcrumb mixture and toss to coat. Lay them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Set the air fryer to 380 degrees for 7 minutes, shaking halfway through. The shrimp are ready when they are firm and golden brown.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
