- ⅓ cup cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Frosting or icing (as needed)
- Heart-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
- Sift together gluten-free flour, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully mixed.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Roll out the chilled dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool and frost the cookies, then decorate with sprinkles.
