Instructions

- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 325°F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool completely before frosting.
- Prepare buttercream frosting and spread over the cooled cake.
- Optional: Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top before serving.
