  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup ketchup, divided
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté diced onion for about 5 minutes until tender, then add spinach and cover to wilt.
  • Chop spinach mixture and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Add ground turkey, egg, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
  • Press mixture into a greased loaf pan and spread remaining ketchup on top.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 45-55 minutes, checking the internal temperature.
  • Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
