  • 1 cup Carrots, diced
  • 1 cup Celery, diced (including leaves)
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Celery Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (or more, to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper (or more, to taste)
  • 3 cups Cooked Turkey
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake puff pastry shells according to the package directions.
  • In a large skillet, heat avocado oil and butter over medium heat. Sauté onion, celery, carrots, and mushrooms for 12-15 minutes.
  • Stir in flour and cook for a minute, then whisk in chicken broth until boiling and thickened.
  • Reduce heat, add cream, seasonings, turkey, and peas. Keep warm without boiling.
  • Remove puff pastry center, fill shells with turkey mixture, and garnish with parsley.
