Instructions

- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Roll out chilled dough on a floured surface to ¼ inch thick.
- Cut out cookie shapes and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies before baking.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 7-8 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool on a rack.
