- 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix (plus ingredients listed on the back)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 small container Cool Whip
- 1 box white chocolate pudding or vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pint strawberries (half chopped, half whole)
Instructions
- Prepare the angel food cake mix according to the box instructions.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing in half horizontally.
- In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Fold in Cool Whip until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until thickened.
- Fold pudding mixture into the cream cheese and Cool Whip blend.
- Spread half of the creamy filling on the bottom half of the cake.
- Top with the second layer of cake and spread remaining filling on top.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Garnish with chopped and whole strawberries before serving.
