Ingredients

  • 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix (plus ingredients listed on the back)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 small container Cool Whip
  • 1 box white chocolate pudding or vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pint strawberries (half chopped, half whole)

Instructions

  • Prepare the angel food cake mix according to the box instructions.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing in half horizontally.
  • In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  • Fold in Cool Whip until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until thickened.
  • Fold pudding mixture into the cream cheese and Cool Whip blend.
  • Spread half of the creamy filling on the bottom half of the cake.
  • Top with the second layer of cake and spread remaining filling on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Garnish with chopped and whole strawberries before serving.
