Ingredients

  • 770 grams water

  • 150 grams sourdough starter

Instructions

  • Combine flour and water in a bowl and let rest for 45 minutes.
  • Add salt and sourdough starter, mix well, and rest for another 30 minutes.
  • Perform stretch and fold technique for a total of four times, resting for 30 minutes each time.
  • Allow dough to proof at room temperature for about 12 hours until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 425℉ and shape the dough.
  • Let shaped dough rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Create slashes on top of each loaf, bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
