- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp hot water
- ½ cup french fried onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 (8-oz) cans crescent rolls
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ºF.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch and hot water in a small bowl, then add it to the beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 16 triangles. Arrange these triangles in a circle on a pizza pan, leaving a 5-inch opening in the center.
- On each triangle, spoon the beef mixture, then top with french fried onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fold each dough triangle over the filling, tucking the tips underneath to secure them in place. Continue until all filling is enclosed.
- Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the crescent ring is golden brown.
