  • 1 cup (120 g) heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with quartered potatoes and add a large pinch of kosher salt. Cover with water and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat and cook until fork-tender, about 25 minutes. Drain and return potatoes to pot.
  • Lightly mash the potatoes, adding butter and heavy cream. Continue mashing until well blended.
  • Stir in 2 teaspoons of kosher salt and ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Adjust seasoning as needed and serve warm.
