  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz. block of cream cheese, softened
  • 23 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 3 ½ – 4 cups confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  • Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry mixtures, then chill for 20 minutes.
  • Roll dough into balls and coat in granulated sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Beat together butter and cream cheese for frosting.
  • Add maple syrup and confectioners' sugar until desired thickness.
  • Frost cooled cookies generously.
