  • 1 -lb italian sausage
  • ¾ cup chopped pepperoni, divided
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until it's no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add pepperoni, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese to the skillet, and stir to combine.
  4. Unroll both cans of dough and separate them into 16 triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on a pizza pan, leaving about a 5-inch opening in the center.
  5. Spoon the sausage mixture onto the half of each triangle that is closest to the center. Top each with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella.
  6. Lift each triangle over the filling and tuck the tip underneath the dough to secure it. Repeat until the filling is wrapped up.
  7. Bake the crescent ring for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and add the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella and ¼ cup of pepperoni on top. Bake for an additional 7 to 20 minutes, or until the ring is golden brown.
