- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water (slurry)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, water, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, grated garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat, then add ground beef and green onions, crumbling the beef as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced pineapple to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes, then pour in the sauce and heat until bubbling.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving over rice or quinoa.
