  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup corn syrup, light or dark
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prepare the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and refrigerate it while making the filling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until combined.
  4. Carefully stir in the pecan halves, ensuring they are evenly coated with the filling mixture.
  5. Pour the filling into the chilled pie crust and adjust the pecans on top if desired.
  6. Place the pie in the oven and bake for approximately 90 minutes, or until the filling is set and firm.
