Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Prepare the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and refrigerate it while making the filling.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until combined.
- Carefully stir in the pecan halves, ensuring they are evenly coated with the filling mixture.
- Pour the filling into the chilled pie crust and adjust the pecans on top if desired.
- Place the pie in the oven and bake for approximately 90 minutes, or until the filling is set and firm.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.

If using light corn syrup, the pie will be lighter in flavor; dark corn syrup provides a richer taste.
