- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 small bell pepper, diced (about 2/3 cup)
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce (or ketchup)
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Sauté diced onion and bell pepper in olive oil until soft.
- Mix sautéed vegetables into the meat mixture.
- Transfer mixture into a loaf pan and shape it.
- Prepare the glaze with tomato sauce and barbecue sauce; apply over the meatloaf.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let rest for 8-10 minutes before slicing.
