  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Nutella or preferred chocolate hazelnut spread

Instructions

  • Beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg, vanilla, and almond extracts; mix until combined.
  • Whisk together the flour, corn starch, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Combine the wet and dry mixtures gradually.
  • Shape the dough into balls, roll in sugar, and create thumbprint indentations.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven and bake cookies for 9-10 minutes.
  • Add Nutella to the thumbprints and cool on a wire rack.
