- ¼ cup (27g) powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (for topping)
- Crushed pecans, optional for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the graham cracker crust by combining crumbs and melted butter, then pressing into a springform pan.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add egg yolks, brown sugar, milk, and cream, whisking continuously.
- Gradually add cornstarch, stirring until mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and pour into the crust. Cover and chill for 4-6 hours.
- Whip the cream for topping and add powdered sugar and vanilla until peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream on chilled pie and garnish with pecans before serving.
