Instructions
- Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
- Cream butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add molasses and egg, mixing until fully combined.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Chill the dough for about one hour.
- Roll chilled dough into one-inch balls.
- Coat dough balls in granulated sugar and then powdered sugar.
- Bake on a parchment-covered cookie sheet in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool on a baking rack for about 10 minutes before serving.
