- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pink food coloring (or a few drops of red food coloring)
- 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- Cream together the powdered sugar, margarine, and unsalted butter.
- Add the egg and extracts, mixing until smooth.
- Whisk and combine dry ingredients, then add to wet ingredients.
- Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Scoop and shape dough, placing on the sheets with space in between.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set and tops are golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Beat butter for frosting until creamy, then add powdered sugar, vanilla, milk, and salt.
- Incorporate food coloring and frost cooled cookies, topping with sprinkles.
