- Pastel pink and electric pink gel-paste food coloring (as needed)
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, honey powder, and lemon zest until fluffy.
- Add egg to creamed mixture and blend.
- Combine lemon juice and milk in a separate bowl and set aside.
- Gradually mix dry and wet ingredients together without overmixing.
- Chill the dough for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Roll out chilled dough and cut into shapes.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Allow to cool before decorating.
