Instructions

  • Incorporate unsalted butter and lemon zest; stir until butter melts.
  • Combine dry ingredients, then add the beaten egg and mix.
  • Gradually include all-purpose flour and ground almonds until a soft dough forms.
  • Cover and rest the dough for at least an hour or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the glaze with powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
