- ¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tsp fresh lemon zest
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp Aleppo pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Chop red onion, garlic, and fresh herbs in a food processor until finely chopped.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, ground lamb, onion-herb mixture, egg, feta, lemon zest, salt, and Aleppo pepper until just combined.
- Form the mixture into uniform balls using a cookie scoop.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and pan-fry meatballs until golden brown on all sides, about 2 minutes per side.
