Instructions

- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well; incorporate vanilla.
- Mix in sour cream gently.
- Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets, flatten slightly, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool cookies for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Prepare frosting by beating butter and sifted powdered sugar until fluffy; add milk, vanilla, salt, and food coloring.
- Frost cooled cookies and top with sprinkles; let set for 30 minutes.
