Instructions
- Sprinkle black pepper on beef tips and let sit.
- Whisk beef broth and brown gravy mix in a large bowl.
- Set Instant Pot to sauté mode, add oil, and brown beef tips.
- Sauté chopped onion for 3-4 minutes, then add minced garlic.
- Mix in Worcestershire sauce and onion soup mix, followed by gravy mixture.
- Layer mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup over beef.
- Seal Instant Pot, cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
- Allow natural release for 20 minutes, then vent any remaining pressure.
- Stir beef tips into gravy; adjust thickness with cornstarch slurry if desired.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
