Instructions
- Combine milk and vinegar; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
- Whisk together egg and grated onion, then mix with the milk mixture.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
