Instructions
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cut in room temperature butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Make a well in the center, pour in milk, and gently combine until dough forms.
- Let dough rest for 2-3 minutes.
- Knead dough gently on a floured surface for about 30 seconds.
- Roll out the dough to 3/4 inch thickness.
- Cut out round biscuits and place on a greased baking dish.
- Make a small indent in each biscuit for even rising.
- Brush tops with egg wash and bake at 425°F for 12-14 minutes.
