  • 6 Tablespoons Cold water
  • Vegan pink or red food coloring (for icing)
  • Vegan Valentine’s cake sprinkles (ensure they are vegan-friendly!)

Instructions

  • Mix dairy-free margarine, caster sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add flour, baking soda, and soy milk; combine to form dough.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking trays.
  • Knead in food coloring if desired.
  • Roll out dough and cut into heart shapes.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until firm.
  • Mix icing sugar with cold water for icing.
  • Pipe icing on cookies and decorate as desired.
  • Let icing harden at room temperature.
