- 3 1/4 cups (400 g) Icing sugar
- 6 Tablespoons Cold water
- Vegan pink or red food coloring (for icing)
- Vegan Valentine’s cake sprinkles (ensure they are vegan-friendly!)
Instructions
- Mix dairy-free margarine, caster sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda, and soy milk; combine to form dough.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking trays.
- Knead in food coloring if desired.
- Roll out dough and cut into heart shapes.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until firm.
- Mix icing sugar with cold water for icing.
- Pipe icing on cookies and decorate as desired.
- Let icing harden at room temperature.
