- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- ⅓ cup (31 g) sliced almonds
- 6 teaspoons garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Boil salted water and blanch green beans for 3 minutes.
- Prepare an ice bath and transfer beans to cool.
- Sauté onions in melted butter until translucent.
- Add remaining butter and sliced almonds, toasting for 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and add drained green beans, cooking for 3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.
