  • 3 cups cooked ham chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ medium head cabbage cored and chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the leftover ham and onion, and slice the cabbage.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ham and onion to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes. Then add the cabbage and cook, stirring, for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the broth, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir. Cover the pan and cook for about 8 minutes.
  5. Take the lid off and cook for another 5 minutes, until most of the broth evaporates.
  6. Garnish with thyme.
