- 6 Cups All-purpose flour
- 3/4 Cup Butter, very soft
- 1 1/2 Cups Dark brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 Cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 Cup Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 Cup Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp Milk
Instructions
- Activate the yeast with hot water and sugar, letting it froth.
- Combine remaining hot water, sugar, salt, melted butter, and flour to the yeast mixture, knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough into a log, slice into 12 pieces, and place in baking dishes.
- Let rolls rise until doubled, then bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
- Prepare cream cheese frosting and drizzle over the warm rolls.
